We hear about this idea of work-life balance.
But it’s kind of bullshit.
It doesn’t make sense.
Nothing in our lives can be exact. For example, this amount of work, this amount of play, this amount of relationship is not all equal in energy. It doesn’t work that way. This is life. We’re in fluid. We’re in motion constantly.
I like the idea of work-life harmony because we get to decide what things we’re going to focus on and give our attention to then and now.
I want you to think of five areas in your life, for example, recreation, relationships, work, creative output, and mindfulness, spirituality.
If none of those words light you up, remix them. Use this as a guidepost. Then I want you to think about how you can find more harmony in all of these areas.
